The Austin Business Journal recently released its list of the 25 fastest-growing neighborhoods in Central Texas.
“We are, of course, growing like a weed in general here in Austin, so this is a very interesting list to look at,” Austin Business Journal editor Colin Pope said. “The ‘burbs are always winning out.”
Pope says the suburbs north and south of major cities are the ones that always top the list, likely because that’s where there’s room to add homes.
No. 1 on the list this year is Sun City, a senior community in Georgetown. No. 2 is Crystal Falls, which is in Leander.
