ARTIST INFORMATION
Nika Belianina is an award-winning filmmaker and photographer based in Toronto. Her work travelled internationally to more than 25 exhibitions including Canada, Belgium, Peru and USA. Participant of multi-disciplinary artist residencies, Contact Festival and various photo competitions, she also shot projects on Indigenous territories in Ontario, Amazon basin and Montana. Her films have screened at more than 70 film festivals worldwide, including Tribeca, Sheffield Doc/Fest and Sao Paulo. Having an MA in Social Psychology, Nika has also sat on a number of visual arts and film juries. Her photographs have picturesque qualities and are highly imaginative.
