Welcome to PC Mag UK

PC Mag launches in the UK.

if you noticed something a little bit different about PC Mag, please don’t be alarmed; you’re now seeing the UK version of PC Mag, which is everything you loved about the US version of PC Mag, but with more news, reviews and deals aimed directly at UK users.

So welcome to PC Mag UK, and I hope you like what you see. Truth be told, you shouldn’t notice anything that different. That was always the aim – to make the transition from one to the other as seamless as possible. But there are subtle differences: for example, we have a section for mobile phones rather than cell phones and most prices should be in pounds rather than dollars. Also, over the coming weeks you’ll also start seeing a lot more UK-specific content, much like the round-up of the best mobile phones currently available in the UK. And you’ll see fewer US-specific stories too, because who cares if you can get $100 off a laptop if you’re living over 3,000 miles away, right?

It’s still early for PC Mag UK so please forgive any teething troubles over the next few days; we have people making improvements to the site every day, so hopefully any problems you have will be ironed out. Of course, if you do see something you don’t like, do let us know in the comments below and we’ll do our best to address it; likewise, if you like the UK version of the site, it’s also nice to hear a compliment or two.

I hope you enjoy the new site

Alex Simmons.
