During the academic year, the 24-Hour Study Room in the Robert L. Carothers Library & Learning Commons will be open every night, including weekends.

The 24 Hour Room is accessible through the Library until 11:00 pm.

After 11:00 pm assume you will need to swipe your URI ID to enter through the brown door in the Library entryway.

That entrance to the 24 Hour Room can be accessed via the card swipe lock with your URI ID.  If you encounter any difficulties entering the room prior to the Library's closing at 2:00 am, please see the staff at the Circulation Desk.  If after 2:00 am, please make Circulation aware of this access issue the following day.

Library materials may be used in the 24 Hour Room after that time as long as they have been checked out at the Circulation Desk.

Please cooperate with Library staff and Security to ensure the continuation of this valuable service.
