Selina Gallo-Cruz is a sociologist and professor at College of the Holy Cross in Worcester, Massachusetts. She has authored numerous essays and chapters on the history and dynamics of nonviolent mobilization, including her recent book "Political Invisibility and Mobilization: Women against State Violence in Argentina, Yugoslavia, and Liberia." Selina is an organizing member of Mothers Out Front in Worcester, Massachusetts. Following her participation in Worcester's development of a city climate crisis response plan, Selina will serve as a Fulbright Scholar at Tampere University in Finland, where she will develop a comparative assessment of city climate planning.
