Navajo Code Talkers: The Code That Couldn't Be Broken

The NMAI joins the Museum of Jewish Heritage to celebrate one of WWII’s best-kept secrets—the Navajo Code Talkers. In a panel discussion, Sam Billison, president of the Navajo Code Talkers Association, will join WWII scholars to discuss how the Navajo language helped win the war. Learn how their unique code system worked and why it could never by deciphered by the enemy.
