The Back Office Division administers and settles transactions in the Riksbank’s gold and foreign currency reserve as well as in the operational side of monetary and exchange rate policy. The division’s activities include transactions in foreign securities, futures and currencies as well as lending to banks in the form of deposits and repos. The division also manages collateral for the credits granted by the Riksbank in the RIX system and is responsible for the management and support of the business system used in the financial activities.
