Exchange rates - Currency fixing

Currency fixes

Every day at 9.30 a.m. the commercial banks (five at present) calculate mid-prices using the formula (bid+ask)/2. These are reported to the Stockholm Stock Exchange (Stockholmsbörsen) no later than 10.00 a.m. At 10.05 a.m. The Stockholm Stock Exchange computes so-called fixes by calculating the average of the mid-prices, excluding the highest and lowest values, reported by the commercial banks.

Today’s fixes can be found on the Stockholm Stock Exchange website.

Euro foreign exchange reference rates are provided by the European Central Bank (ECB).
