Not since Central Park was built 150 years ago has New York City witnessed a project as bold as Hudson River Park. Extending along the West Side waterfront from 59th Street to Chambers, the new Park already offers New Yorkers magnificent public piers, lush lawns, extraordinary views and easy access to the Hudson River. Yet only 30% of the Park is built, and at least $100 million will be needed to complete it.

Friends of Hudson River Park is a not-for-profit 501(c)(3) organization that advocates for the public funding needed to finish the Park and provides private sector financial support and programs to enhance the opportunities it offers. We invite you to join us in this quest to complete and enrich what will be one of the great waterfront parks in the world.
