Swedish production increased in February
According to preliminary estimates, total industrial production (NACE C+D) increased by 1.6 per cent in February compared to January. Production increased by 2.9 per cent from February 2004 to February 2005.

News: Starting from the reference month January 2005, the Industrial production index is calculated as a chain index. A new method for seasonal adjustment has also been implemented. These changes have resulted in a revision of the time series from January 1990.
For more information about these changes, please see press release from March 10, 2005.
Note: All comparisons between successive periods are based on seasonally adjusted index numbers. Comparisons between the current period and the corresponding period of the previous year are based on working day, not seasonally, adjusted index numbers.
