Proceeds of coin set to support disabled athletesMint of Finland’s newest coinage was launched at the beginning of the IPC Athletics Open European Championships in Finland at August 22nd in Espoo. Proceeds from the sales of the coinage support the Finnish National team of disabled athletes. In addition to the 2005 euro coins, it includes the World Championship 5 euro collector coin. The winner of the Basel 2005 coin raffle drawn!Mint of Finland arranged a voting for the public of the World Money Fair in Basel 2005. The subject of the voting was the recently launched 5 euro collector coin ”10th IAAF World Championships in Athletics”.
