Moche Stirrup Pottery Workshop

The workshop will begin with an engaging discussion of Mapuche stirrup pottery in the museum's ceramics exhibit Born of Clay with Angela Friedlander (Métis). Join us in two-days full of activities celebrating the Indigenous cultures of Central and South American, the Caribbean and Mexico. Experience these unique and vibrant cultures by participating in a number of fun hands-on activities. Inca Son, a traditional Andean music and dance group, will introduce and educate visitors to the riches of the Andean Culture. Workshops include Inca gold pendants, Taino clay plates, shell necklaces, bracelets, and much, much more!
