Britannica Publishes Spanish Encyclopedia Online
Enciclopedia Universal en Español is comprehensive, with in-depth coverage of Hispanic culture
CHICAGO, May 13, 2002 - Responding to the growing demand for high-quality educational
materials in Spanish, Encyclopaedia Britannica, Inc. today introduced Enciclopedia Universal en Español,
an online encyclopedia for schools, libraries and other organizations in the United States and Canada.
With more than 47,000 articles and 8,300 images, Universal is one of the most
