THE FIRST COLLECTOR COIN OF PARLIAMENTARY REFORMWAS MINTED TODAY BY THE SPEAKER OF PARLIAMENT MR LIPPONEN
The Mint of Finland Ltd has on a decree of the Finnish Ministry of Finance minted a 10 euro silver collector coin to honour the parliamentary reform as well as the general and equal suffrage that were realised one hundred years ago. The constitutional reform of 1906 formed the basis for Finnish democracy and equality. The first collector coin was minted at the Mint of Finland today by Speaker of Parliament Mr Paavo Lipponen.
