International Secretariat

The main task of the International Secretariat (INT) is to provide support to the Executive Board with regard to international contacts. This is achieved, for instance, by the department coordinating and to some extent preparing the Executive Board members’ international work, primarily in the fields of BIS/G10, ECBS, the EU work in Brussels and the IMF.

The Secretariat also supports the Riksbank’s international work in general, partly through dialogues with the policy departments on strategic considerations in international issues. Further tasks include generally ensuring that international aspects are taken into account in the Riksbank's operations and ensuring that there are forms for good internal coordination.

The Secretariat is also responsible for disseminating information on central international economic policy issues, both internally and externally.

Organisation

The Secretariat has a staff of 10, and Cecilia Roos Isaksson is acting head of the Secretariat.
