Radio Broadcasts

Radio broadcasts are an integral form of communication and collaboration between the National Museum of the American Indian (NMAI), Native and indigenous people of the Western Hemisphere and Hawai'i, and the general public. Radio programs are supported by the NMAI Community and Constituent Services department, which strives to interact with Native and indigenous organizations and professionals to produce radio and audio programs, products, and services that are informative, educational, and entertaining. The NMAI Native Media Program offers live radio broadcasts, exhibitions on the radio, and a radio series, Living Voices.

NMAI audio programs The Legacy of Maidu Indian Artist Frank Day and Coyote Bites Back: Indian Humor are available on the American Indian Radio on Satellite (AIROS) website.
