TWO COLLECTOR COINS IN HONOUR OF THE FINNISH EU PRESIDENCY (7.9.2006)
The Mint of Finland Ltd has on a decree of the Finnish Ministry of Finance minted bimetallic collector coins of 50 euros and 5 euros in connection with the second Finnish EU Presidency. These collector coins have been designed by sculptor Reijo Paavilainen. The collector coin with a value of 50 euros is minted in gold and silver, while the 5 euro collector coin is of copper-nickel and aluminium-bronze.
