Länsförsäkringar, with 24 independent regional insurance companies, and the jointly owned Länsförsäkringar AB, is Sweden's only customer-owned locally established banking and insurance alliance. Länsförsäkringar offers a broad range of policies and financial services for companies and private individuals. Länsförsäkringar has got Sweden´s most satisfied customers in both bank and insurance. Länsförsäkringar has achieved the highest customer satisfaction in the areas in both banking and insurance in Sweden.

Länsförsäkringar is the market leader within Swedish non-life insurance, with a market share exceeding 32.2 per cent. Länsförsäkringar has 12.0 per cent of the market for life assurance and pension insurance, and 3.0 per cent of the bank market. Länsförsäkringar also includes Agria Djurförsäkring (anminal and crop insurance). The Alliance manages assets totalling SEK 140 billion.
