All-Horse Parade
Clip clop, clip clop, clip clop. Horses hooves are a common sound in Delaware County! Each September, thousands of people line the streets to watch the All-Horse Parade march from the Delaware County Fairgrounds through Historic Downtown Delaware. This all horse-pony-mule-donkey-drawn vehicle and several great bands parade is truly unique. Come and enjoy one of the largest non-motorized parades east of the Mississippi!

Delaware County Fair
"A Fair to Remember!" Steeped in tradition, the Delaware County Fair is one of the biggest and best county fairs in Ohio. Each September, this spectacular, week long event offers agricultural and livestock exhibits, entertainment, and an exciting midway. The Delaware County Fair also features grand circuit harness racing on an international scale. Full of fun and excitement for all ages, the Fair honors a rich agricultural tradition where great pride still exists for handmade and homegrown. Little Brown Jug
The third Thursday after Labor Day, multitudes enjoy the exciting pace in Delaware with the running of the Little Brown Jug-one of the jewels in the triple crown of grand circuit harness racing! Paced on the fastest half-mile track in the world, the Little Brown Jug is the only such race that still runs in conjunction with a county fair. Harness racing occurs Sunday-Thursday at the fair, culminating with the Jugette Race on Wednesday and the Little Brown Jug on Thursday. Wildlights
Light up your life with a holiday visit to Delaware County! Wildlights at the Columbus Zoo and Aquarium is a great way to make the season bright. The Zoo sparkles with over 2,000,000 lights during the holiday season. Ice skating and gift shopping add to the holiday cheer. Many indoor and outdoor animal exhibits enhance the season's delight. See manatees, elephants, giraffe, wolves, reptiles, live coral reef, penguins, bears, and more! Take a ride on the beautiful 1914 Mangels-Illions Carousel. Wildlights begins the Friday before Thanksgiving and runs through New Years. Hours are 5-9 p.m. Sunday-Thursday, and 5-10 p.m. Friday and Saturday (closed Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve, and Christmas Day).

Antique and Flea Markets
If you like shopping for unique, antique and nostalgic relics, put Delaware County on the top of your list. Ohio's Heart of Antiquing, Delaware County offers not only year-round antique and specialty shopping, but numerous antique and flea markets each year, occurring in Sunbury, Powell, and at the Delaware County Fairgrounds. Sunbury hosts three annual antique and flea markets on the square and Powell has three annual Antique Street Market days. Castle Arts Affair
Held at The Arts Castle each November, the Castle Arts Affair is a juried art show selling works of regional artists and beyond. It's a great way to get an early start on holiday shopping! 190 W. Winter St., Delaware, (740) 369-ARTS.

Delaware Arts Festival
This terrific annual arts festival is held the weekend after Mother's Day in the streets of Historic Downtown Delaware. The festival hosts over 170 booths featuring juried works of local, regional and other artists.

Powell Festival
A two-day event held annually in June, the Powell Festival is a good time for the whole family. The festival offers activities for adults and children and a large children's play area. Great food, live music, and fireworks are also part of this "funtastic" festival. This event is a wonderful way to celebrate Powell.

The Shawnee Hills Dam Jam
Now more than a decade old tradition, the Dam Jam is possibly one of the largest parties in Central Ohio! A pre-Memorial Golf Tournament celebration, the Jam takes place the weekend preceding the golf tournament. The event includes fun for the entire family.

"Blast From The Past" Cruise-In
Approximately 600 vehicles from yesteryear line and cruise the streets of Historic Downtown Delaware each July. Voted "Cruisin' Times Magazine" top ten downtown events for 2002 and 2003, the annual "Blast from the Past" car show is a spectacular car, truck, and motorcycle exhibition.

Memorial Golf Tournament
Muirfield Golf Club, Dublin, OH. Each May, thousands flock to the famous Jack Nicklaus Memorial Golf Tournament. The tournament takes place at Muirfield Golf Club, which is also a Nicklaus-designed course. This major PGA event brings the world's outstanding golfers to Dublin and Delaware County.

Sunbury Antique & Flea Markets
Three times a year, Memorial Day, Labor Day, and the Fourth of July, treasure hunters make their way to Sunbury's quaint village square for the antique and flea market. Antique and specialty shops surrounding the square are also open for browsing and enhance the fun of searching for unique, antique, and nostalgic relics. The Labor Day flea market also includes an old-fashioned ox roast! Many make attending these flea markets an annual tradition.
