An inauguration ceremony was held February 1 at Camp Zaytun to mark the opening of the Regional Reconstruction Team (RRT) for the Iraqi Kurdistan Region. The Regional Reconstruction Team in the Iraqi Kurdistan Region is the tenth team to have come on-line since the start of the provincial reconstruction team program in November 2005.

Contract Opportunities
The Iraq Investment and Reconstruction Task Force, U.S. Department of Commerce, helps U.S. companies participate in reconstruction and other business opportunities in Iraq. The State Department's Office of Commercial and Business Affairs also provides information on reconstruction contracts.
