About Statistics Sweden's website

Statistics Sweden uses a web publishing system for this website, with the primary aim of increasing efficiency and quality in the publication process.

With the introduction of this system, all pages on the website have new, fairly complicated addresses.  Because of this, to make it easier for users, we have formed “short addresses” to some of our pages. IIn the majority of cases, the short adress of a particular page can be seen at the bottom of the page in question.

For example, all our subject-related pages and product pages have short addresses, as follows http://www.scb.se/xx for subject-related pages, e.g. http://www.scb.se/am is the short address for the subject area Labour Market.

For pages covering statistical products are designed as follows: http://www.scb.se/xx1111 where xx1111 refers to the product code. E.g. http://www.scb.se/am0401 is the short address for the Labour Market Surveys (AKU).

For all pages, the Statistics Sweden logo is linked back to the first page.
