The Nassau Regional Office, located in Mineola, is involved in a broad range of litigation on behalf of Nassau residents and in defense of State agencies. Equally important, the office is actively involved in serving the community in a myriad of ways from mediating consumer complaints with local merchants, to attending and participating in community functions. The office not only mediates consumer complaints but, in more serious cases, initiates investigations and litigation against those merchants and businesses engaging in fraudulent business practices. The entire staff of the Nassau Regional Office is active in attending and participating in important community events. The Nassau County Regional Office, in conjunction with the Criminal Prosecutions Bureau of the Attorney General’s Office, investigates the commission of indictable offenses or offenses in violation of the law when requested to do so by the Governor or by the head of a department, authority, division or agency of the State. The Office may also investigate such offenses when expressly authorized to do so by statute as in matters involving violations of the Martin Act (N.Y.S. General Business Law § 352-c; prohibits various fraudulent practices regarding the sale of securities).
The staff of the Nassau County Regional Office is in constant contact with area residents through community outreach efforts. The outreach includes but is not limited to, visiting local groups and organizations to discuss topics of concern and participating in events and celebrations.
The New York State Attorney General's Nassau County Regional Office is located at 200 Old Country Road, Suite 460. Parking may be found behind the building on Third Street.

Grand Central Parkway East (becomes Northern State Parkway) to exit 28 South (Willis Avenue). At the end of Willis Avenue turn right onto Old Country Road. FROM POINTS EAST:
Southern State Parkway West to Exit 22N Meadowbrook Parkway North. Exit off M-1 (Old Country Road). Make left after exit ramp onto Old Country Road heading west. Contine 1.5 miles until you reach the intersection of Old Country Road and Franklin Avenue/Mineola Boulevard. At intersection, make a right. Then make your first right onto Third Street. Vistor parking garage is located on the left.
Northern State Parkway West to Meadowbrook Parkway/Jones Beach (Exit 31A). Exit off M-1W (Old Country Road). Follow directions from Old Country Road heading west.
