The BBC World Service Trust has begun broadcasting HIV/AIDS spots to Africa and the Caribbean, the two regions worst affected by the epidemic.
 
"Thabyegone Ywa" is set in a small village in lower Burma. It explores issues of poverty-related diseases, including HIV/AIDS.
 
Dealing with life in a fictional suburb of the capital city, Tirana, Rruga me Pisha entertains, raises awareness and stimulates debate on issues and dilemmas common to everyday life.
 
As Afghans got ready to vote in their first democratic elections for 25 years, local journalists were preparing to report on the polls with the help of specialist training from the Trust.
 
A body consciousness public health campaign in Brazil helps fight leprosy, a forgotten and disfiguring disease, which until now has been widely ignored. The campaign began in January 2003.
