The Accounting Division

The Accounting Division is responsible for the Riksbank's accounting, which comprises day-to-day bookkeeping, drawing up the Bank's annual accounts, and external and internal reporting. For example, a report showing the Bank’s balance sheet is produced every week. The division also administers the payment of salaries and invoices. Another important area for the division is the internal control of the Bank’s activities and resources, which involves coordinating the planning and follow-up of business plans and budgets.
