August 22, 2007: Non Tenure Track Assistant Professor

The Department of Chemistry is seeking a full time faculty member to teach the undergraduate organic laboratory course and, working with other faculty, develop an innovative laboratory curriculum incorporating modern pedagogy and new instrumentation (including newly purchased NMR, GC, GC/MS, FTIR and UV-Vis) to be housed in a new laboratory. The successful candidate will additionally supervise the operation, training, and maintenance of instruments used in undergraduate courses. A Ph.D. in chemistry is required. Applications will be reviewed immediately with the goal of filling the position by November 1. The appointment will be annual with the possibility of continuation.
