The Paul Foot award for Campaigning Journalism 2007

For the third year running Private Eye and The Guardian are awarding a prize for investigative and campaigning journalism in memory of Paul Foot.
Submissions will be accepted for material that has been published in a newspaper, magazine or on a website between 1st September 2006 and August 31st 2007. No broadcast material is eligible. Individual journalists, teams of journalists or entire publications may enter and entries will be considered for anything from single pieces to entire campaigns.
There will be an overall prize of £5000 and five runners up will also be awarded £1000, at a ceremony to be held in London on the 15th of October 2007. The closing date for entries is 1st September 2007...

David Harrison Wins the Paul Foot Award Award for Journalism 2006

6th October 2006: David Harrison today picked up the Paul Foot Award for Campaigning Journalism for his tireless and often perilous investigation into sex trafficking in Eastern Europe published in The Sunday Telegraph. His work has been justifiably acclaimed by the United Nations and forced action from the Home Office and Britain’s police forces.
