Nigel Jaquiss
Nigel Jaquiss, 42, has been a reporter at Willamette Week in Portland, OR since January 1998. He has won three national Education Writers Association First Place Awards, numerous local Society of Professional Journalists awards and twice been runner-up for the Bruce Baer Award, given annually to the best reporter in Oregon.

Prior to joining Willamette Week, Jaquiss traded oil for 11 years in New York and Singapore for Cargill, Morgan Stanley and Goldman Sachs. He graduated from Dartmouth College with a degree in English in 1984 and from the Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism in 1997. He is married and has three children.
