74 Chadian Children Kidnapped Weeks Ago by French Firm
Chad will investigate reports that 74 Chadian children were flown to France weeks ago without their parents' knowledge, a senior judicial official said Thursday. The reports come on the heels of Chad's kidnapping charges against six French workers with the group Zoe's Ark who are accused of trying to fly 103 other children out of Chad to France.

LD350 Billion for Development Projects, El-Mahmoudi
As much as LD350 billion will be spent on development projects in the coming few years in Libya, according to a statement made last week by Mr. Al-Baghdadi El-Mahmoudi, the Secretary of the General People's Committee.

One Palestinian from Islamic Jihad was also killed on Thursday. This in addition to 4 more Palestinians killed early during the week.

Top envoys from the United Nations and the African Union chairing talks in Libya on the troubled Darfur region of Sudan today welcomed the Khartoum Government's unilateral declaration of a cessation of hostilities and called on all parties to the conflict to make a similar commitment without delay.
