INTO THE WILD Emile Hirsch's best actor nomination was among the movie's four SAG Award nominations

The 14 Annual Screen Actors Guild Award nominations, announced Thursday morning (Dec. 20), were fairly spread out among the early awards season favorites. Into the Wild led the pack with four nominations: best actor for Emile Hirsch, supporting actor for Hal Holbrook, supporting actress for Catherine Keener, and a nod for ensemble cast. Michael Clayton also fared well, with a lead actor nomination for George Clooney and supporting nods for Tom Wilkinson and Tilda Swinton. No Country For Old Men showed up three times as well, nabbing supporting actor nominations for Javier Bardem and Tommy Lee Jones as well as an ensemble nod.

Early favorite There Will Be Blood earned just one nomination, a lead actor nomination for Daniel Day-Lewis, and was edged off the ensemble list by No Country, Wild, Hairspray, 3:10 to Yuma, and American Gangster. Ellen Page continued her run as an early lead actress favorite, earning a nomination for Juno, but she'll have to go up against another strong contender, SAG lead actress nominee Marion Cotillard (La Vie En Rose). Cate Blanchett pulled another two-fer, nabbing honors for her supporting role in I'm Not There as well as a lead actress nod for Elizabeth: The Golden Age.

Cable networks cleaned up in television's drama categories, led by HBO's Sopranos, which earned best actor nods for James Gandolfini and Edie Falco as well as a drama series ensemble nomination. AMC's Mad Men earned a pair of nominations, best actor for Jon Hamm and best drama ensemble, while Kyra Sedgwick grabbed a nomination for best actress in a drama series for TNT's The Closer, which also got an ensemble nod. She will go up against best actress nominee Glenn Close, from FX's Damages. In comedy categories, The Office, Ugly Betty, and 30 Rock each got multiple nominations, including a best ensemble for a comedy series nod for each.

The nominations were presented by Jeanne Tripplehorn and Terrence Howard at Los Angeles' Pacific Design Center's Silver Screen Theater. The 14th Annual SAG Awards ceremony will take place on Jan. 27.
