Washington, D.C. - The Georgetown University women's basketball team (13-10, 3-7 BE) travels to face Louisville (17-7, 6-5 BE) in a BIG EAST Conference tilt on Sunday afternoon, February 17, inside Freedon Hall. Tip-off is set for 2 p.m.
The No. 8-ranked Georgetown men's basketball team visits the Syracuse Orange (16-9, 6-6 BIG EAST Conference) this Saturday at the Carrier Dome in a matchup of familiar BIG EAST rivals. Tip-off is scheduled for noon, with ESPN covering the game live. Dave Pasch will be calling the play-by-play alongside Fran Fraschilla, who will handle the color commentary. The game will air on SportsTalk 980 AM with Rich Chvotkin making the call.
WASHINGTON, D.C. - The Georgetown University swimming and diving team qualified 32 student-athletes for the BIG EAST Championships at the Nassau County Aquatic Center in East Meadow, N.Y., beginning on February 20. The Hoyas' 32 qualifiers are eight more than the 24 sent to last year's BIG EAST Championships.
