The SNB as an employer
| Career paths
|
The SNB promotes a culture focusing on teamwork, performance and feedback, and offers fair market salaries based on achievement. It creates a working environment that promotes personal responsibility as well as individual and professional further development of staff at all levels. It offers
| - | challenging, interesting work | | - | internal and external opportunities for further education | | - | flexible working hours ("annual working time") |
| - | centrally-located modern offices |
| At the SNB, there are essentially two different career paths - a management career path or a specialist career path. Where operational conditions allow, employees with the requisite potential, inclinations and interests are free to take up a management career.
By contrast, a specialist career path makes it possible for employees wishing to focus on challenging specialist tasks to pursue a specialist career. In doing so, they can attain the same hierarchical levels as those pursuing a management career path, right through to deputy director level.
