Bachelor's Degree

Oklahoma State University in Tulsa currently offers an undergraduate degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders. We train Speech-Language Pathologists for careers identifying, evaluating, and treating individuals of all ages with speech, language, and hearing disorders. Students learn to diagnose and treat speech, language and hearing problems such as disorders of articulation, motor speech, stuttering, voice, delayed language, aphasia, written language, hearing impairment, and related disorders.

The B.S. is a pre-professional degree and is designed to prepare students for various graduate professional degrees in the clinical sciences. The master’s degree (M.S.) is the minimal, entry-level requirement to obtain the full license in speech-language pathology (State of Oklahoma) and national certification by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association.
