Welcome to the Georgetown Undergraduate Research Opportunities Program
Introduction
The Georgetown Undergraduate Research Opportunities Program (GUROP) offers motivated students the opportunity to learn the discipline and experience the rewards of scholarly research by working with faculty on their research projects. Students spend a minimum of 70 hours per semester/summer working with a faculty mentor on that faculty member's research.
Apply for a Summer 2008 GUROP research grant today!
Applications for summer grants are due on Monday, March 10th by 5pm. Please note that this is the Monday after Spring Break and we will not be able to extend the deadline.
Information on Applications for Regular Semester GUROP research grants
Applications for regular semester grants are due the Friday of the first full week of classes which for Spring 2008 means Friday, January 18th this year.
Complete the Fall 2007 GUROP Evaluations
In order to receive your research award and transcript notation for Fall 2007 both student and faculty research team need to fill out and complete a program evaluation form.
