In the latest round of matches, with the top two, Al-Ahli and Al-Ittihad having their games postponed, Al-Ahli of Benghazi continued to strengthen their hold on the third position of the league standings thanks to a 1-0 away victory at Al-Ouroba obtained with a goal by Sulaiman Abdu-Assadaq on the hour. On their part, Alakhdar followed up their success over Al-Ittihad with another solitary goal victory against Al Wehda with Fofana’s goal on 34 minutes earning them all three points. Lower down the ladder Al-Madina defeated Khaleej Sirt with an Alharare Saed 79th minute goal, while Al-Nasser got the better of Al-Tirsana in a 2-0 victory thanks to two second-half goals by Alseny Camara (49) and Waleed Al-Shabli (76)
Al-Olomby and Al-Jazeera shared the spoils in a 1-1 draw with Esmel Bangora giving the home team a 17th minute lead and Ibrahim Al Khalel levelling on 74 minutes. Ngom Egdabya are desperately making a fight back to get off the bottom and their 2-1 win over Al-Shat has helped in some way, although they are still in 16th position.
