How do I put articles from more than one language on my personalized page?
You can mix and match both standard and custom sections from the 40 regional editions of Google News.
To add a standard section to your personalized page, just follow these steps:
- Click on "Edit this personalized page" (or "Create personalized page" if you haven’t yet created a personalized page).
- Click on "Add a standard section."
- From the drop-down menu, select the regional edition of your choice.
- Select the standard section you'd like to add to your page.
- Choose the number of stories you'd like to display in this section.
- Click on "Add section."
To create a custom section, just follow these steps:
- Click on "Edit this personalized page" (or "Create personalized page" if you haven't yet created a personalized page).
- Click on "Add a custom section."
- Enter the keyword(s) you'd like to use to create your custom section.
- Click on the "Advanced" link.
- Select the language of your choice from the "Language" drop-down menu.
- If you'd like to narrow your customized section results to include only stories from a particular section, select that section from the "Section" drop-down menu.
- Choose the number of stories you'd like to display in this section.
- Click on "Add section."
The example above will create a new section on your homepage about soccer, in Spanish. This section will display seven stories and will be labeled "Fứtbol."
