Tripoli-- Speaking at a press conference in Tripoli on Wednesday, the Leader of the Revolution Muammar Al-Qathafi said the "Union for the Mediterranean" will be "a complete Failure."

Astonishingly the United States House of Representatives – as reported by the Tripoli Post in the last week of May - passed a bill authorizing the Federal US government to sue OPEC (Organisation of Petroleum Exporting Countries) in US courts for alleged price-fixing. The reasoning and logic behind this move is that the present record-high world crude oil prices are caused purely by OPEC artificially inflating world prices by suppressing supply.
