KeySite Enterprise (KSE)

KSE is the second major version of KeySite released in July 2005 by KeyBridge. KSE provides numerous enhancements over the prior versions, KeySite1 and an updated version of KeySite 1 known as KeySite+. The following is a list of features and improvements new to KSE:

  • All web pages are stored in an enterprise database, allowing them to be easily reused in multiple locations.
  • The content of each web site is managed within a logical site map, which corresponds to the navigation structure of the site.
  • Context-sensitive navigation showing the user's location within a web site can be automatically generated.
  • Web pages can be saved as drafts, revised, previewed, and then published once they are completed.
  • Direct access to usage data (hits) for all web pages in a site.
  • Content can be imported, exported, and syndicated using RSS feeds.
  • All web pages are assigned a permalink (permanent link) that can be used to avoid broken links when web sites are reorganized.
  • Page formatting "skins" make it easy to centrally control the formatting of an entire web site.
  • Users are placed in groups to allow fine grained control over editing rights.
  • Improved user interface for working with large numbers of content objects.
