Al-Qathafi Wise to Address such Issue
Editor,
In relation to your article "Gaddafi: Iran, Germany Need to Join Powerful Alliances to Face Today's Challenges", the Libyan leader Muammar Al-Qathafi is wise to address this issue at this point in time.

Covering the Olympic Games
Referring to the 13th of August story "Beijing 2008: Men Individual Time Trial: Cancellara Delivers Gold", I am pleasantly surprised to see The Tripoli Post website being so efficient at updating its readers with the results of the Olympic Games. I feel I must thank you for a job well done as I never expected such a service.

Not-so-blind Justice
All along, we believed 'justice is blind'. Apparently, it is not so any more as the conviction of Sudanese President by the International Criminal Court would indicate. Justice now seems to be very cognizant of the person charged.

Mbakbaka etc...
Dear Editor,
Referring to The Tripoli Post article "Food Fight: The Contested History of Pasta" published on 22 June 2008, I felt very hungry and wished to have mbakbaka in front of me after finished reading your article.

This is No Way to Treat Flyers
I'd like to forward an outcry to the disservice I got with many of my fellow brothers ‎and sisters at various international airlines. The most notorious of all being the Qatar ‎Airways, where as soon as you approach the faces of the ticketing crew that are void ‎of smiles and any welcoming gesture you know that you will be driven through ‎frustration and ill treatment before you ever get served.

Looking After the Environment
Dear Editor,
I am a foreign visitor working here in Tripoli for a few weeks off and on. I have recently had the daily pleasure of jogging around the newly opened park near to the Zoo in the centre of the city.

Bush and His Renegade Brigade
Dear Editor,
In her recent article 'George Bush must be held accountable', 31 May 2008, Zainab Al-Arabi has summed up the situation rather well. USA is supposed to be a democratic country where people are knowledgeable, have access to all sorts of information and can exercise their right of vote freely.

Thank God for the Bravery of these Libyans
Editor,
The World balance of power really needs to be dramatically changed.

Libya Defends the Truth
Editor,
In "Libya Summons Western Ambassadors, Expresses Surprise at Envoys’ Security Council Walk Out," issue 98, Libya's firm stand fully deserves to be apreciated in the whole world.

I have a Strong Suspicion
Dear Editor,
I have a few comments to make in connection with the article "McCain says Iraq War can be Won by 2013, Indicates Iraq War similar to World War II", dated 17/05/2008 that appeared in your newspaper.

Why Not All Children Want to be Doctors and Engineers
Editor, ‎
In her article, "Creativity and Necessity: Not All Children Want to be Doctors and ‎Engineers,"(The Tripoli Post issue 199), Zainab Al-Arabi has pointed to a serious ‎issue which is quite common in the developing world the reasons invariably are as ‎noted below.

Referring to your news story "Preparing the Ground for the New Tripoli International Airport", April 19, 2008, I would like to inform the people behind the project that we were not invited.

Israel's Lobby in the US
Dear Editor,
Referring to "Truth... And the Israeli Lobby in the United States" by Morgan Strong, The Tripoli Post, 26 April 2008, the article describes the situation very well.
