News Sitemaps: What if I don't submit one?

Google News doesn't favor sites that use News sitemaps. Whether or not there's a News sitemap available, Google News will use normal crawl methods to search and index all news sites (homepage and sections). We recommend creating a News sitemap for greater control over content that appears in Google News.
