Library Mission Statement
To be a central and coordinated gateway to all official statistics for everyone regardless of where they are produced regardless of how they are published
Collections
The library at Statistics Sweden is a specialised public library for Swedish, foreign and international statistics. The main part of the collection consists of publications with statistical results from most of the countries of the world and from some 50 international organisations. UN OECD IMF ILO World Bank
In particular, all the publications from the EU's statistical office Eurostat can be found in the library, in printed as well as electronic format. Eurostat
Swedish statistics from the 1700s onwards can be found here. The library also offers you access to different databases and to over a thousand electronic journals.
In addition to these services, the library has a Statistics Shop, where you can buy all of Statistics Sweden's own publications. Statistics Shop

We lend material within certain specialised areas:
- Swedish, foreign and international statistical results - statistical theory and methodology - the organisation and history of statistics - demography
Daily newspapers, publications that are more than a hundred years old, microfiche, CD-Roms or material marked EJ HEMLÅN/EJ EXTERNLÅN (For reference only) cannot be borrowed from the library.
If you visit the library and would like to borrow materials, you must show a legitimate proof of identity and sign a lending agreement. You can also borrow directly via the library catalogue on the Internet. The publications will be sent to you, but you have to pay the return postage yourself. Borrowing policy
The lending period is 30 days. You can renew your loan directly in the library catalogue on the Internet.

A copy machine is available in the library. It costs SEK 2 per copy.
A number of the publications are kept in storage. These are collected from the storage facility at 8.15, 10.15, 12.00, 13.30 and 14.45.
