The press service: an important source of information

Statistics Sweden's press service supplies a regular series of press releases on current statistics in a range of different subject matter areas to about 240 representatives of the mass media (news bureaux, daily newspapers, radio and TV). Over 300 press releases each year make up-to-date information available to all.

Starting 3 October 2005, Statistics Sweden will be publishing its statistics at 9:30 a.m. Some exceptions may occur.
