Mint of Finland renews organisational structure (18.6.2008)
Mint of Finland Ltd is renewing its organisational structure. The company produces e.g. Finnish euro coins, collector coins as well as  decorations and badges of honour, among others. During the last few years, Mint of Finland Ltd has expanded strongly through acquisitions and the current reform is part of the strategic plan, which aims at clarifying the company’s management model and strengthening the customer orientation of the business.
 
The new organisation transfers the total responsibility of different product lines into three business units. These new units are Circulation Coins,  Collector Coins and Medals, and Gifts and Decorations.

In connection with the reform, the following nominations became effective 1st June:

M.Sc. (Eng.) Matti Rastas is appointed Vice President of the business unit for circulation coins. M.Sc. (Econ.) Juha Ruskola is appointed Vice President of the business unit for Collector Coins and Medals.

Further, M.Sc. (Econ.) Mika Peippo is appointed Vice President of the business unit for Gifts and Decorations with beginning 1st August.

Additonally, M.Sc. (Econ.) Juha Hörkkö is appointed CFO of Mint of Finland Ltd with beginning 1st June. M.Sc. (Eng.) Paul Gustafsson continues as the company’s Executive Vice President. He is also responsible for the development of the business operations and technology.

All above mentioned persons are members of the executive team of Mint of Finland Ltd and report directly to CEO Maarit Aarni-Sirviö.
