Professors Jennifer Swift and Richard Weiss were awarded federal research grants totaling $961,244.

Professor Jennifer Swift recently received a three-year, $485,544 grant from the Defense Threat Reduction Agency, which will fund her project, “Template-Directed Crystallization of High Energy Materials.”

The National Science Foundation awarded Professor Richard Weiss a three-year, $475,700 grant for his project, “Correlations of Properties of Polymers, Gels, and Reversible Ionic Liquids at Different Length and Time Scales from Structural Data and Thermally or Photo Induced Dynamic Processes.”
