College Academic Council
The Georgetown College Academic Council is comprised of elected representatives from each class who foster a working relationship between administration, students, and faculty in order to help students manage and enhance their academic lives. The Council interacts with College faculty and administration regarding a wide variety of issues. The College Academic Council represents the students of Georgetown College, seeks their opinion on academic issues, and acts in their name. It has helped to develop stronger student-professor relations through the Majors Mentors Network, Dean-Student lunches and dinners and volunteering nights with Deans, as well as through the College Majors Fair.
As it is an elected student body, the Academic Council would like to serve the College fully. Please feel free to bring suggestions, questions, or comments to the attention of its members. Contact any member simply by going to the Members page and clicking on any names.
