Georgetown University Human ResourcesFaculty and Staff Assistance Program

SPONSOR
A
FAMILY

Continuing its annual program the Faculty and Staff Assistance Program, Department of Human Resources announces the beginning of
2008
"Sponsor a Family."

Once again, the FSAP-HR is asking for recommendations from GU individuals/families, as well as departments who wish to sponsor a family at the Georgetown University, GU Law Center or GU Medical Center community.

The program runs in stages from first receiving the names of GU Families to be sponsored to the GU Families finally collecting their gifts from the FSAP office in December, close to the holidays. As soon as we receive the families to be sponsored
and departments interested in sponsoring we will assign a family to the departments and provide you with the age, gender, clothing sizes and needs of each sponsored family. Gifts should be wrapped and labeled with the age and gender of the recipient. To help us keep this private and confidential, kindly avoid writing your/your department's name on the gifts.

The program is completely confidential. The sponsors do not know the recipients and vice-a-versa. This makes it easy for GU sponsors and recipients to participate in the program.

FSAP is pleased to facilitate such a noble event in which the Georgetown Community is brought closer by sharing. We encourage you to come forward and involve yourself in this gracious cause. If you are interested in sponsoring a family this year, or know of a family who would make an appropriate beneficiary, please send an email to
