Prof. Robert Whelan, University of Texas at Arlington was awared the Prix du Québec at the recent ACQS Biennial Conference. Prof. Whelan has done extensive research on urban governments in Québec and has provided extensive service to the ACQS as treasurer and president.

The Fund for ACQS has been announced. The Fund for ACQS will insure the financial stability of the organization and generate dividends that will allow ACQS to expand its mission and serve a greater number of researchers and institutions. Currently contributions are tax-deductible only in the US.
