Yapta Adds Hotel Rates to its Price Watch Service

Sunday March 22, 2009
Have you used Yapta.com as a fare tracker Web site? Actually, it's now more accurate to say "price tracker," because Yapta executives have launched a service that they say allows budget travelers to track hotel rates at 110,000 properties worldwide. Travelers have used the site for some time now to track airfares. You set up a tracking alert for the travel product of your choosing, and then select how often you want to be notified -- maybe when the price drops $20. Some people use Yapta prior to a booking decision, while others track after they've booked to ensure the product doesn't go on sale at a later date. In that event, Yapta instructs users about how to ask for refunds of the price difference. Read more about how Yapta allows tracking of prices and even frequent flier mile limits and then comment on your own Yapta experiences.
