The 2009 Chinese New Year Celebrates the Year of the Ox

As you might imagine, Chinese New Year festivities are a big deal in China. This year authorities are expecting no less than 188 million people to travel by rail throughout the country (or at least try to) for the holiday, which formally kicks off on the lunar Chinese New Year's Eve, January 25. But China isn't the only place you'll find spectacular fireworks displays and all-night parties to ring in the Year of the Ox; here's the lowdown on more Chinese New Year celebrations around the world.
