Maryland Bar Candidates:  Due to the level of interpretation of your undergraduate transcripts, your Pre-Legal forms, which are included in Part I of your application packet, will need to be completed by your undergraduate institution, not the Law Center.

Virginia Bar Candidates:  Please note address change as of November 1, 2006:
Virginia Board of Bar Examiners
2201 West Broad Street
Suite 101
Richmond, VA  23220-2022
Phone:  804-367-0412

New York Bar Candidates:  Please note that while the July New York Bar Exam application deadline is April 24, 2008, the deadline to submit final transcripts to the New York Bar is July 1, 2008.  Transcripts to the New York Bar will be sent via Federal Express within two weeks after graduation day (May 18).Please remember that you must submit a request to us to have your transcript sent to the NY Bar. Transcripts will not be sent automatically.

The New York Bar processes approximately 12,000 bar exam applications every spring. Please read the application instructions carefully and prepare your materials early.   The website for the New York Bar is www.nybarexam.org.

It has been confirmed with the staff of the New York Bar that a TRANSCRIPT is acceptable in lieu of the "Certificate of Attendance Form" which is contained in the Bar Exam application. Due to the high volume of requests for New York, we send student transcripts only. We are not completing the "Certificate of Law School Graduation."
