Common issues: Viewing a specific edition of Google News
Google often redirects you to a News edition that corresponds with either your Google interface language or your IP address location. If your Google interface language is Italian, for example, you'll get the Italian Google News page.
Alternatively, we use your computer's IP address, which is frequently the internet address of your Internet Service Provider (ISP), to determine your location. We normally redirect users outside of the United States to one of our region-specific sites (e.g., http://news.google.co.uk for UK users). This provides users easy access to region-specific news headlines.
If you'd like to see a different Google News edition, you can:
Change your Google interface language. Just click the "Preferences" link on the main Google search page and select your preferred language from the "Interface Language" drop-down menu.
Use the drop-down menu at the top of the News page. To change your edition to German, you'd select "Deutschland" from the drop-down menu, as shown in the screenshot below.
Select one of the links at the bottom of the News page. Each of these links will take you to one of our many Google News regional editions.
Additionally, you can set a bookmark for your desired edition. For example, to always view the US edition of Google News, just set your bookmark to http://news.google.com/news?ned=us
